Established in 1997, and managed by Youth Health Service, Inc., we are a non-profit child care center committed to meeting the needs of young children and their families. Dedicated, well-trained, nurturing adults provide quality care for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age children through the age of twelve years.
As a program of Youth Health Service, Inc., the tradition of quality service is woven into HTCDC programs using the professional expertise of multiple disciplines, including education, nursing, psychology, and social work.
Children at HTCDC are cared for in age specific classrooms and teachers develop plans based on the age group’s developmental needs. On any given day you may find our infants finger painting while our toddlers are learning how to use brushes and our pre-schoolers are learning to paint inside the lines.
A developmental approach to early childhood education allows children to learn at their natural pace and gain foundational skills for a successful transition to school. The school age program includes opportunities for homework assistance, planned games, structured and unstructured activity periods, and interactive time with peers.
Home Ties Child Development Center is recognized as a high quality, Tier III center and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
